Congratulations to the team of JEAces and GPI Southeast, which was recently selected by FDOT for a CEI grouping of six bridge projects on 14 bridges in Duval and St. Johns Counties. These projects will involve the installation of impressed-current cathodic protection systems for the concrete substructure elements, installation of cathodic protection pile jacket, and fender system replacement.
“Our project partners and the highly trained JEAces personnel I work with every day deserve all the credit for this win,” said Stephen Haney, Project Manager.
Since being awarded the FDOT District 2 Bridge District-Wide contract in 1995, JEAces has become a leader in providing CEI services to FDOT and has compiled an extensive résumé on bridge rehabilitation projects in Northeast Florida. Construction of the projects under this contract is estimated to cost $18 million and require 850 days to complete.
“We are excited to oversee these projects for FDOT and keep Florida’s transportation infrastructure strong,” Stephen said.
Congratulations to all involved in becoming the top-ranked team.
